Working with Pablo as my spiritual coach for over five years was one of the most impactful and transformative experiences of my life. I have begun to let go of the weight of trying to keep up this false protection. I am starting to let go of my many attempts at controlling my life and have grown more comfortable with allowing mystery to enter instead. In this mystery, I have encountered God and have sat with him as he has shown me new things about my life and who I am.

10 years into my marriage, I convinced my husband to go to couples therapy due to unresolved issues that kept popping up over and over again when we were fighting.

A couple years ago, I went through a really tough season with my wife (at the time, of seven years). We had been growing more and more distant for a litany of reasons. On the surface, we argued about children and her career/role in the family for many months. A few months earlier, we had had a tough miscarriage that really rocked both of us. I don’t think either of us had the tools (spiritually, relationally, emotionally) to process any of our dysfunction. One day, I found her with another man.
